About Nick of Time Nick of Time is a registered quartet of Sweet Adelines International. Formed in 2022, Nick of Time includes singers from two Southern California choruses. Nick of Time is available to perform locally and regionally at chorus and community events.
Nick of Time performs 4-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style and connected over a shared love of music from past eras. The quartet has an engaging performance style and often features upbeat and humorous numbers, as well as timeless classics by artists like Ella Fitzgerald. |

Our Quartet Members
LORI, TENOR
Virginia Coast Chorus, San Diego Chorus Lori has a broad musical background that includes piano and vocal training from childhood through her adult years. Following in the footsteps of her mother, a long-time Sweet Adeline, Lori has sung with Virginia Coast Chorus in the past and is currently a member of the award-winning San Diego Chorus, where she serves as Tenor Assistant Section Leader. Over her singing career Lori has sung and competed with many quartets, and received the Sweet Adelines International Novice Quartet award early in her barbershop journey. 
NICOLE, BARITONE
San Diego Chorus Nicole has sung barbershop for 24 years, and has a diverse background that spans everything from musical theater to singing in the car. She is a member of the award-winning San Diego Chorus, where she served as the baritone section leader for a decade. A lover of dance and movement, Nicole is also a member of the front row. During her barbershop journey, Nicole has enjoyed singing and competing with multiple quartets. |
NICOLE, LEAD
San Diego Chorus Nicole's musical background includes piano, flute, percussion, drum line, choirs and musical theater from early childhood through adulthood. Originally classically trained, she competed in voice and on multiple instruments from ages 10-21 in district, regional and state competitions. Nicole recently discovered 4-part a cappella harmony when she found and joined the San Diego Chorus in 2019. She has never looked back, diving into her barbershop journey with joy and momentum. 
DENISE, BASS
San Diego Chorus, Vista Hills Chorus Denise is an accomplished vocalist, pianist and flautist. A singer since childhood, she has 27 years of barbershop experience. Denise has been a member of the San Diego Chorus since 1995, where she serves as Bass Section Leader. Over the years she has sung various voice parts including tenor, baritone and bass. Denise has an extensive background in quartetting. She currently serves as director of Vista Hills Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. |
